What is Play With ASL: School Edition?
School Edition is our classroom companion app. Students practice ASL vocabulary through games — Memory Match, TILT!, and Multiple Choice — and get in by launching from your school’s LMS or by buying access in the app. It is a separate app from the consumer Play With ASL app.
Where do I download it?
Search Play With ASL: School Edition in your app store.
- iPhone / iPad: App Store
- Android / Chromebook: Google Play (Chromebooks use the Android app)
For class, use the School Edition listing rather than the consumer Play With ASL app.
How do students get access?
Students get in one of four ways:
- From your LMS: When a teacher assigns Play With ASL, students launch from the school’s LMS straight into School Edition.
- Purchase Access in the app: Open School Edition → Purchase Access → pick a plan. Plans are shown at checkout.
- On the web: Get access on this site.
- Through your school: Teachers and admins request a demo — purchase orders welcome.
Do I need an account before buying?
No. You can purchase first, then optionally Create Account / Sign In afterward so access can follow you across devices.
I already paid — how do I restore?
On the purchase screen, use Restore Purchases.
Can I enter a school code in the iOS app?
School codes are not entered in the iOS School Edition app. When your teacher assigns Play With ASL, launch from the LMS. You can also use Purchase Access in the app, or get access on the web.
Is this the same as the consumer Play With ASL app?
No. The games are the same; the store listing, billing, and LMS launch are different. For class, always download School Edition.
Does a purchase unlock every future LMS launch forever?
No. A purchase does not unlock every future LMS launch forever. If an LMS launch asks for access again, use Purchase Access or Restore Purchases, launch as your teacher instructed, or contact support@playwithasl.com.
What games are included?
Memory Match, TILT!, and Multiple Choice — plus themed card packs in the school library.
